Red Cypress is a worker-owned cooperative composed of artists, organizers, and strategists based in Louisiana.
We work exclusively with progressive nonprofits, foundations and political campaigns, providing strategic advising and hands-on communications support to amplify efforts to build a more just and equitable society.
With a track record of working with some of the world’s most innovative organizations and organizers on the front lines of social change, Red Cypress knows how to get results.
Davante Lewis is a fierce public advocate who approached Red Cypress with an audacious plan to challenge a 17-year incumbent on the state Public Service Commission. Red Cypress helped Davante defeat his utility-funded opponent without taking a dime from the industry.

Power Mapping
Women With a Vision is a Black-led reproductive justice organization advocating for sex worker rights, drug policy reform, HIV+ women’s health. From amplifying groundbreaking policy to decriminalize sex work, to educating and mobilizing supporters around health and reproductive justice advocacy, Red Cypress supports WWAV on an ongoing basis in an effort to improve the lives of Black women and girls in the South.

The family separation crisis thrust LUPE into the national spotlight and provided opportunities for the organization to reshape the ways its audience and the media talk about the southern border. Red Cypress worked with key stakeholders to develop a radical new border narrative and secured national media coverage through the 2020 election.
